Wow! We held our first screening at WILSHIRE SCREENING ROOM and it was a total success! I'm so proud of Doug for his directing and our amazing Troy for the editing and DP work! Comments about the film were "It was surprisingly funny," "It was well put together," and "It flowed." Laughter filled the screening rooms each showing and it made my heart flutter!! I am so grateful for our cast and amazing crew. Without them, this vision of Doug's and mine would never have been possible. Tony Miguel did the poster work and the photo shoot. He is a very talented photographer! Check out his site. Just click on his name and it will take you to the "Charity" photo shoot. Make sure you look at all his work. Now, stay tuned for more updates as they happen. The work and journey now begins.......

IT'S OFFICIAL! WE ARE IN PRODUCTION FOR "CHARITY!"

I can't believe it. A big thank you to Dave Sowers and Johnny Murdock for making this happen. I've known these two guys since junior high, and who would have thought!

Anyway, we are shooting in January and from there, anything is possible!! Make sure you check out Douglas Spain's website as he is the Director. We are forming Spain/Raye Films and this is our first! I will still have to raise a tiny bit more for post, but I'm not worried!! I'm too excited to worry!

Feel free to email me with any questions regarding this little short film. It will be wonderful working with Chuck Marra, the director of my first short, "Purple Rose" again. He is a Producer along side of me as well as one of the actors. And, a very funny one I might add! I'll be posting the cast and pictures after January, so stay tuned!

We are making another short film!! It's called "charity" and it's being directed by my very good friend, Douglas Spain. http://www.douglasspain.com

I will tell you more about it as it goes along. I'll be putting up a page or two especially for the short, but I'll tell you this!! We have a great cast and a wonderful director!! I'm really excited. Douglas and I wrote it and well...I'm playing "Charity." Wow huh!! I actually get my name above the title!! Finally!
